Read Letter - No More cuts
By kim mcleod
Written Jan. 21, 2010
A letter written to Hon. Iris Evans, Sherwood Park
I have an 8 yr old son with cerebral palsy. The cost of having child with special needs on average is $40,000 more annually than having a child without special needs. We struggle daily with all the physical & emotional demands. To worry about more financial cuts causes incredible stress on our families. We have all had to make major sacrifices. It is time the Govt made them with their own wages & bonus's. Start watching how they spend "OUR" money. It is wrong what is happening. Stop frivolous spending, it is all at the expense of our most vulnerable citizens. We just need some help. kim
