Read Letter - Hi Luke

Written Feb. 02, 2010
A letter written to Hon. Luke Ouellette, Innisfail-Sylvan Lake
Hi Luke, I am very concerned with many of the cutting measures which may be introduced by February 9th to education, health, and government services. My major concern is that we are going to begin to cut out the rurals first and the continuation of public funded resources will be lost for yours and my constituant's. My question is what is the 17 Billion sustainabilty fund used for ?? Is this to be used during the hard time ?? I appreciate the meeting two weeks ago but would love to challenge you to spend the night at the Innisfail Hospital with me on any upcoming long weekend or night you choose. The AHS model is totally bogus and I felt the news article does not justify these changes. As elected official we need to take some responsibilty for the safety of our citizens. This is not a form letter but just another Albertan who voted for ED and had been disapointed with the lack of consultation on Health Care, Education and Government Services. Thanks, Jason Heistad
