Read Letter - 2010 Budget
By Warren Gschaid
Written Feb. 24, 2010
A letter written to Mr. Greg Weadick, Lethbridge-West
I am writing you because I am concerned over the cuts to services in particular PDD and post-secondary education. We are over "taxing" our youth and the marginalized of society. Moreover, we should index Aish benefits to the cost of living. Although I happy about the increase in the health care budget , I am concerned that the money is not being spent wisely. It seems the money is being spent without much thought in improving programs. Albertans do not deserve cut backs to services in this economy. In fact it needs public service investments to boost the economy and support the fabric of society to keep communities healthy and strong.
